So, how do you say

i’m lovin’ you

This project was a personal project I developed to respond to the statistic that 61% would consider a date to McDonalds, and that nearly half of Brits have had a date at McDonalds. McDonald’s had responded to this research by creating a Valentines pairing menu to with suggested menu items that go well together, to mock the idea of a fancy restaurant menu. This was a nice start, but I felt they could have done more.

Which brought to life this campaign.

McDonalds date this Valentines?

Make it stand out

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

This campaign looks at the behaviour of love languages, and aims to bring to light the real importance of Valentines. Many people behave as though it is about the gifts, fancy restaurant or proposals. Whereas the root of Valentines is to show your love for your date. This can be simply spending time together, but we also say it when we offer food as we only offer this to people we are close to. It almost implies it as an intimate gesture, which through this campaign I aimed to build the association of sharing food to be associated to saying i’m loving you, which links to McDonald’s slogan ‘i’m lovin’ it’.
